All houses wherein men have lived and died Are haunted houses. Through the open doors The harmless phantoms on their errands glide, With feet that make no sound upon the floors.
The 2013 Low Country Boil for Bluefields Neighborhood was a great occasion. With superb weather and a grand setting at the home of John and Mary Doak Bluefields neighbors were treated to great food and neighborhood friendship.
The Bluefield Home Owners Association setup the event and thanks for all board members and in particular Ginny Russell who spent a lot of time and energy organizing the event as well as overseeing packing up.
Also a Big Cheers to Jeff Pratt, homeowner on Overhill, who obtained the recipe from a former owner. Jeff also helped Ginny plan the food amounts when Ginny was grocery shopping for all the items.
Thanks to John and Mary for being such gracious hosts!
As we now head into October we are looking forward to Halloween at Bluefields so time for everyone to start thinking about those fall decorations!
