Councilman Hosts Information Meeting for Bluefield Residents

District 15 Councilman Phil Claiborne will be hosting an neighborhood information meeting in regard to the proposed communication tower to be located on the Bluefield's residents side of the tracks near the Lebanon Pike Entrance (opposite Fifty Forward).

The meeting will have company represensativies that that has been contracted for this project available to explain the need, the process and to answer questions on Tuesday evening, May 13 at 6 pm in the large conference room at Fifty Forward.

We are encouraging all Bluefield Neighbors (in particular Bluefield Avenue Residents) to attend the meeting so we can all be well informed about the proposed communication tower and to have questions ready to ask the company represenatives.

The greenery along the back of Bluefield Avenue Properties (and along the railway line) currently provides critical visual and sounds barriers protecting residents from trains running along the railway line.

The attached map (black X) show the proposed location of the new communications tower (please note this has not been verified). This land has been railway property since the 1800's and is owned by Nashville and Eastern Railway. Bluefields subdivision is over 80 years old with houses dating back 1920's including the houses that are directly behind the proposed tower.
