Heard In The Halls
Seems that the party given by the Future Farmers and the Future Homemakers Friday night was a great success. Students had a wonderful evening square dancing, playing rook, checkers, ping pong, and various other games.
Very few couples knew how to "do" the folk games when they arrived in the gym but, as the evening passed, improvement was noticed and at the close of the party there were very few who did not know how.
There were sandwiches and cokes for everyone -- with some left over....
Some of our Students attended dances at near-by colleges Friday night. Edna Grace Nunley attended the T.P.I. dance. Estelle Bee and Mary Ann Edwards attended the M.T.S.C. dance as guests of two of our former students, Horace Nelson and Joe Lavender.
The Future Farmers have been spending their vacant periods on the football field digging post holes and putting up posts, in preparation for the horse show which will be given this summer.
