Three members of Donelson High School won places on the Davidson County All-Star Cast in a recent contest of the County Forensic League in one-act plays at Isaac Litton High School.
Rated in the order of their performances, the following Donelson students won All-Star rating: Radford Stewart, second; John Tucker, fourth; and Barbara Holmes, fifth. Miriam Preston and Patsy Simpson, both of Hillsboro, took the first and third places, respectively, to fill out the five-member All-Star cast.
The Donelson students are all members of the Freshman class which presented "Love Hits Wilbur," a comedy. Others in the cast which took second place against six other Davidson County entries were Ann Lavender, Jean Hargis and Mary Criswell. Hillsboro won first place and Central third.
"Love Hits Wilbur" will be presented to the public in a performance scheduled after the Holidays.
Hillsboro's winning drama, "Evening Star," was presented before Donelson High Thursday afternoon.
