The Girl Scout Troop 23 met Monday and continued their Christmas projects. The Second Class is working on stuffed animals, the Teen-Age on Christmas cards, and the Tenderfoots completing plans for their party. The group also learned a folk game.
The marriage of Miss Frances Ann Freeman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ellis Freeman, of Madison, to Edwin Thomas Steger, Jr., son of Mrs. Edwin Thomas Steger and the late Mr. Steger, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, was solemnized Friday evening, November 22, at the bride's home in Madison... Later in the evening the bridal couple left for a wedding trip, and upon their return will make their home on Fairway Drive in Donelson....
Robert C. Worsley, who has been a guest of his daughter, Mrs. John H. Cook, Earhart Pike, Hermitage, left last week to visit his parents and other members of his family in North Carolina and Washington, D. C. Early in January he will leave Miami by plane for his home in Balboa, Panama Canal Zone, where he has resided the past 35 years. Mr. Worsley is District Manager of the Union Oil Company of California. For many years he has been active in Boy scout work, being a past President of the Boy Scout Council, Canal Zone, and holder of the Silver Beaver Award from the Council. He is a past President of the Rotary Club, and is now Secretary-Treasurer of the Committee of Management of the U.S.O., formerly the Army and Navy Y.M.C.A.
