A horse show will be one of the outstanding features of the 15th annual Mt. Juliet Community Agricultural Fair, sponsored by the Mt. Juliet Chapter of the Future Farmers of America, September 27 and 28.
The horse show will be held at 3 p.m. on September 28. A wide field of entries has been assured, according to John Spickard, chairman. Clarence G. Yelton, Bub Burton and Marvin Everett are other members of the committee.
The annual Hobby Show, under the leadership of Miss Ivy Nell Smith, assisted by Thomas Carver and Bobby Jennings, is another feature of the show. A Baby Show is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on September 28.
Exhibits of farm products will be placed in the High School building. All exhibitors must enter their products not later than 10:30 a.m. September 27. The Pleasant Grove and Green Hill Community Improvement Organizations will have exhibits in the gymnasiums.
Newly-elected officers of the FFA chapter are: Charles Westo, president; Roy Frazier Martin, vice president; Dick Freeman, secretary; Jack Goodall, treasurer; and Thomas Carver, reporter. Prof. T. J. Browning, vocational agriculture teacher, is the faculty sponsor.
